Bass Coast 2019, Baby!

Bass+Coast+Podcast+2019-Final3.jpg

Back by immensely popular demand, it’s Bass Coast, baby! Everyone’s favourite dance floor family reunion. A kaleidoscope of visual art, creative individuals, thumping music, and nachos libre. Take us HOME, we’re ready!

This edition of the festival will surely be true to this year’s theme, a Duality of experience; both local and worldwide - in the forest and in your living room - through your ear plugs and through your ear phones…

Yes, that’s right. Boiler Room will be broadcasting LIVE from Bass Coast for two separate days. Even if you can’t make the festival, (which frankly, we at Night Vision do not recommend), you can still be practically teleported to the dance floor for two evenings of brilliantly curated music. Appearances on the feed range from Bass Coast founder and festival favourite The Librarian, to one of our hometown heroes, DANE. Needless to say, you can check your fomo at the door. This kind of exposure is going to give Bass Coast the reputation it deserves on the global stage, and we’re incredibly stoked that Bass Coast has locked down Boiler Room to broadcast from their first ever Canadian festival.

Every year we try to get our followers a little more acquainted with our, (and apparently North America’s) favourite Boutique Festival. This year’s lineup is stacked with cutting edge musicians who are pushing the limits of their respective genres and scenes, and electronic music as a whole. Bass Coast kept their ears to the underground from top to bottom and, as always, awarded some deserving local talent with some waking-dream moments. We’re going to introduce some of the talent featured on this year’s lineup the best way we know how, through The Night Vision Podcast!

Chock full of recommendations, we hope this mix introduces you to a few new gems and makes browsing through the handy Bass Coast app that much easier for you this year ;)

So, here it is! Mixed by our very own podcast hosts Malcs and Trevor Oslo, The 2019 Bass Coast Discovery Mix. Enjoy!
